I don’t normally catch moving trains and when I do, they’re usually just moving a few hoppers or some oil tanks. This weekend however, I caught quite a few good strings coming and going.

I caught four moving lines over the weekend: Saturday morning on the way to work, Saturday evening on my way home from a block party in what will be my new ‘hood, early afternoon on Sunday and Sunday evening when I returned to the yard, just on a whim.

The Freight Gods were smiling on me again, and together we created some beautiful benching. I’m so glad to be back on track.

Saturday morning: 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 Late Saturday afternoon: 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 Late Saturday evening: Begin the shitty night flicks. 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 Sunday afternoon: 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 Never have I lusted after a hopper in such a way... I wanted to catch this so bad, but missed it whenever it left. Sunday evening returned to the yard, just in time for this: 53 54 55

It’s been hot, but I’ve got more flicks on the way!
