March is almost over and it definitely went out with a roar. Saturday we got some heavy, wet snow which reminded us all that anything can happen in March in Wisconsin. Sunday turned out to be pretty beautiful despite that so with sunny skies I hit the pavement.

TBOX Love Edition.
Nothing lifts my spirits more than seeing a nice long line of TTX TBOXs down at the yard. I don’t know why, but those nice, big, yellow, beatiful boxcars are my favorite. Usually you can pretty guarantee some good finds and they’re a nice contrast to the usual gray and black CSXs that are always hanging around.

Vernal Equinox Weekend Edition: Saturday.
Saturday was beautiful and Opal and I tore up the bike path for the first time since fall. It was nice to visit all my old haunts again and hang out in some of my favorite places. And flying down Starkweather is as fun as ever.
